1. General Policy

At North Point Driving Academy, herein knows as ‘NPDA’, ‘School ‘or ‘Academy ‘is committed to ensure the satisfaction and understanding of our Student Refund Policy Revision Number NPRP01. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed. Below Applicable Refunds are only for training that requires lessons (Practical and Theory) on Passenger vehicles excluding Corporate Contracts. Corporate contracts and packages are not governed by the below Refund Policies and all such queries to be redirected at School Management.

2. Late, Cancellation or Rescheduling Fees

  • All cancellation or rescheduling is done free of charge if requested 24 hours prior to lesson time.

  • A late cancellation or rescheduling fee of $25.00 applies for lessons cancelled within 8-24 hours of scheduled lesson time.

  • A late cancellation or rescheduling fee of $40.00 applies for lessons cancelled within 3-7 hours of the scheduled lesson time.

  • A late cancellation or rescheduling fee of $55.00 applies for lessons cancelled within 2 hours of lesson time.

  • A late cancellation or rescheduling fee of $60.00 applies for lessons cancelled without notice or no-shows.

  • If you are sick or have any family emergency, try to inform the school as quick as possible to prevent any charges. If you have a doctors note, for the day of your Lesson no penalties incurred, and your lesson will be rescheduled without extra charges.

  • If you are within the 10 minutes late mark, you will receive the balance of your scheduled lesson and be charged for the full lesson.

  • If you are late beyond 15 minutes, the instructor will leave, and you will not be refunded for the lesson

  • Students may cancel and be entitled to a full refund if cancellation of a +package is more than two business days from the First Lesson or Lesson start date.

  • If the cancellation is requested less than two business days from the First Lesson or Lesson start date, students are entitled to a refund of the fees paid less 15% (maximum) administration fee.

3. Non-Refundable Services

  • Completed lessons are non-refundable.

  • Lessons and packages are non-transferable to other individuals under any circumstances.

  • Road test Car Rental Fees are not refundable, if not Cancelled within 72 hours of the Road test appointment time

4. Refund of Unused Lessons

  • For refunds on the balance of Lesson packages, the lessons used will be first charged at the individual driving lesson @ $120, with a top on $20.00 processing fee. Refunds for individual lessons has a processing fee of $10.00.

  • Refund requests must be made formally by emailing to northpointda@gmail.com and will be processed within 7-10 business days and will be refunded using the same mode of payment

5. Expiration of Packages

  • All purchased lesson packages must be completed within 12 Calendar months from the date of payment.

  • Incomplete packages after 12 months are not eligible for refunds or extension of lessons.

6. Special Circumstances

In cases where the school cancels a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, car troubles, adverse weather conditions), the student will be notified and the lesson rescheduled at the student’s convenience, without any extra charges.

7. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days
